Eternity

A tear shed by a boy in fear
Thought what means the word dear
For no one in this world would care
For a blind orphan like me
The time who shall spare
Though my eyes can’t see the world
And its fantasies
But with my heart full of sorrows
I thought would this be my eternity
A voice came from within him
You need not to worry
For the world is at it should be.
But a day shall come when it all would end
And those with misdeeds shall repent
You shall rest in peace
As the peace will come in eternity
A sweet smile, then danced on his lips
And he rose as a ray of light
Passing through the sky
To where it belongs…

A Valentine to a Little Child

Dear heart, on this thrice-blessed day,
An thou my sweetheart be,
The rose of love shall bide always
Upon the red-rose tree.

And in the garden of my heart
So ceaselessly shall shine,
The little birds will know thou art
Mine own true Valentine.

And I will bid them wing and sing
To all good winds that blow,
That to thy little feet they bring
All blessings, even so.

And o’er thy cradle I will coax,
By every lucky charm,
The friendship of the fairy folks
To fold thee from all harm.

So may they hover round thy head
And gently thereupon,
As doth the April sunshine, shed
Most gracious benison.

And all fair gifts that Fortune hath,
I’ll pray she promise these,
And that she loose about thy path
All sweet influences.

Then here’s a kiss! and there’s a kiss!
And kisses, one, two, three!
I seal them in the folds of this,
And speed them unto thee!

Wind and Window Flower

Lovers, forget your love,

She a window flower,
And he a winter breeze.

When the frosty window veil
Was melted down at noon,
And the caged yellow bird
Hung over her in tune,

He marked her through the pane,
He could not help but mark,
And only passed her by
To come again at dark.

He was a winter wind,
Concerned with ice and snow,
Dead weeds and unmated birds,
And little of love could know.

But he sighed upon the sill,
He gave the sash a shake,
As witness all within
Who lay that night awake.
Perchance he half prevailed
To win her for the flight
From the firelit looking-glass
And warm stove-window light.

But the flower leaned aside
And thought of naught to say,
And morning found the breeze
A hundred miles away.

When I look into your eyes, I am nothing but surprised.
I know about your past and how it didn’t last,
How you got hurt, burnt, Abused and used,
and i bet your confused.

You deserve better, if not always and forever.
You said you didn’t care, But you couldn’t bare,
Isn’t it such a scare.

Let me into your life and Ill show you that I care.
Like an endless dream Ill always be there.
I know your busy but please make time.
Working so much should be a crime.

You need time alone, and some time to think,
Let your feelings out why having a drink.
Forget about the past and look to the future,

Watching whitecaps roll into the ocean of blue.
With a smile on my face just thinking of you.

The sweet memories, the tender moments we’ve shared.
They caress me like the soft breeze that fills the air.

The loving feeling I get when I hold your hand.
The summer night when we walked in the sand.

Waves splashing on the rocks along the shoreline.
Brings tears to my eyes knowing that your mine.

Sharing a love like ours my happy heart sighs.
Watching the violet clouds carelessly floating by.
